The service
Acknowledged is an app for Microsoft Teams. A member of a channel where the app is available can post an announcement, collect acknowledgements from channel members, send reminders to people who have not acknowledged, and see who has acknowledged. It works in standard and private channels. Shared channels are not supported yet.
Using Acknowledged
Anyone your organization's Teams policies allow may install Acknowledged in a team or private channel. Your organization's administrators control whether the app can be used. You are responsible for the announcements you post. You must not use Acknowledged to send unlawful, harassing or deceptive content, to send bulk unsolicited messages, or to probe, overload or bypass the security of the service.
Plans and payment
The Free plan includes 3 announcements per calendar month per organization. Paid plans (Pro and Pro+) are described on our pricing page.
Paid plans are bought outside Microsoft Teams, on a checkout on this website operated by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT and issues invoices, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until canceled. You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription on the upgrade page or at paddle.net. A canceled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for; your organization then returns to the Free plan. If a renewal payment fails, the paid plan stays active for 7 days while payment is retried, then your organization returns to the Free plan.
Pro covers up to 100 people a month. If an organization on Pro goes over, we show a notice and allow 14 days to move to Pro+ before new announcements require Pro+. Announcements already sent are never interrupted.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; a change applies from your next renewal. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Your content
Announcements and acknowledgements belong to your organization. You allow us to store and process them only to provide Acknowledged. How long we keep them is described in our privacy policy.
Availability and support
We work to keep Acknowledged available but do not promise uninterrupted service or a response-time guarantee. Support is by email during the hours on our support page.
Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, Acknowledged is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Acknowledged records that a person pressed Acknowledge; it does not prove that they understood the announcement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts your organization paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
You can remove Acknowledged from a team or private channel at any time. We may suspend an organization that breaks these terms. Data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date; material changes take effect after 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and the courts of Yerevan have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory protection you have under the law of the country where you are based.
