Getting started
Add Acknowledged to a team from the Microsoft Teams app store. For a private channel, also add it from the channel's ⋯ → Manage channel → Apps. In a standard or private channel, open the message box, select … (Actions and apps), choose Acknowledged, then New acknowledgement.
Channels and chats
Acknowledged works in standard and private channels. Group chats are not supported.
Added the app to a private channel and it isn't ready yet
Setup can take a little while after you add the app. If Acknowledged says setup may still be finishing, try again in a few seconds. If it says it isn't active, follow the next topic. If Teams shows an error while you add the app right after adding it to the team, reload Teams and try again.
Acknowledged says it isn't active in this private channel
“Acknowledged isn't active in this private channel.”
If Acknowledged isn't in the channel yet, add it from the channel's ⋯ → Manage channel → Apps. If it's already there, remove it from ⋯ → Manage channel → Apps, then add it again.
Shared channels
Shared channels are not supported yet.
Your subscription
To upgrade, change or cancel, select Upgrade in Acknowledged in Teams: the page it opens has Manage subscription for paying organizations. You can also manage a subscription, download invoices or ask for a refund at paddle.net with the email address you used at checkout.
Deleting your data
Removing Acknowledged from a team or private channel deletes that scope's data 30 days after Acknowledged records the removal. If Acknowledged finds the app there again before then, the deletion is cancelled and the remaining data is kept. To have data deleted sooner, email us from an address in your organization and tell us which team or channel.
Acknowledged asks you to add it to a team it's already in
Remove Acknowledged from the team and add it again. Then add it again to any private channel where you use it, if Teams doesn't.
